JOIN / RENEW NOW...

Dear Members and Prospective Members,

With our continued economic uncertainty, it is imperative that we continue to sustain our existing cultural assets that make Greenville such a remarkable place. The Greenville Symphony plays a major role in attracting new businesses and tourists to the area and in providing a superior quality of life for residents. One way which you can support this quality of life is to join The Guild of the Greenville Symphony.

Founded over 53 years ago, the Guild is a dedicated group of people who support the GSO through volunteerism and fundraising. We provide meals for the orchestra during rehearsals, work with the GSO education outreach program, assist with Symphony office special projects, host Guild Concert Previews, and help the GSO wherever needed. At the same time, we have contributed nearly $2,500,000 to the orchestra through our many superb fundraisers.

This year our fundraising activities will include the Tour of Homes in Thornblade, September 16-18, the Black & White Ball on February 25, 2012 at the Westin Poinsett Hotel, and the Downtown Condo Rondo on May 12, 2012.

Working together towards a common goal has resulted in lasting friendships, camaraderie, and the pride of doing something worthwhile. Music matters to us all, and we need to keep beautiful music playing in Greenville.

Sincerely,

Donna Comstock
