Our Board of Directors has been following the developments regarding the recent outbreaks of COVID-19 and how this might affect our upcoming Gala. As you are aware, in the past few days, there have been a number of events cancelled. We have reviewed these developments along with the information from local and national health officials. As a member of our Guild family, we want to assure you that your well-being is important to us and our priority at this time is to keep everyone healthy. Therefore, we feel that it is important to exercise caution regarding this event.
While it has been a difficult decision to make, the Board of Directors of The Guild of the Greenville Symphony Orchestra has decided to cancel our “Symphony of Dragons” Spring Gala which was scheduled to take place on Saturday, March 28th.
If you have already paid for your reservations to the Gala or were anticipating attending, we hope you will consider donating your reservation payment to The Guild of the Greenville Symphony Orchestra, for which you will receive a letter identifying your donation for tax purposes. However, if you prefer, requests for refunds will be honored. Please contact the Guild Office either by email at GuildGSO@bellsouth.net or call 864-370-0965 to arrange your donation or refund.
